Ingalls was once home to the Doolin-Dalton Gang, who engaged in mischief and violence throughout the town. Now, Ingalls stands as a small town with remnants of the past. The community has residents who have lived there for the majority of their lives.

As a team of multimedia journalists, we decided to dive deeper into the towns of Oklahoma that have fallen by the wayside. We travelled far and wide across the state and learned from communities that have been forgotten, towns with a diminishing population, and from the people within them that are doing what they can to preserve their history. Our goal was to let Oklahoman's tell their stories.
